Artist Statement:
Obsessive Compulsion Disorder, OCD, is a disorder where a person experiences uncontrollable urges or recurring thoughts and engages in repetitive actions. Many people immediately think about the necessity for objects to be organized and clean, but they tend to forget about the internal struggle with thoughts diagnosed individuals have to obey to move on with their day. "Internal Nagging" focuses on the mental strain involved with having overbearing thoughts and urges. It is comprised of two main parts: One is the person peeling back his face, and the second is the miasma of thoughts flooding out of his head, which consists of words and sentences that talk about perfection, the lack of it, and ramblings at the moment.
